Rosewood Rehabilitation offers a wide variety of activities for every individual. Our activities engage the body, mind, and spirit. These events provide social interaction and a fun experience. We create monthly activity calendars that are packed from morning to night with fun activity options.
Our Activities Program is full of fun, informative, and entertaining events for everyone. Each day there are plenty of activities to not only keep you busy, but you will find it is a great place where you can go to socialize with others. Join us for ice cream socials, arts and crafts classes, current events, or a lecture series. Once you arrive, the Activities Department will discuss your interests and hobbies and assess your activity level with you and your family.
Our residents love getting out and about — and we make it convenient and easy. Rosewood Rehabilitation is conveniently located near local restaurants and shopping centers — all of which is easily accessible in our beautiful van with a secure wheelchair lift for residents. Our van is well-appointed, attractive, climate-controlled, and spacious with plenty of seating. And we frequently schedule group outings and sight-seeing trips.

With over 50 years as a cornerstone of the community, Rosewood offers a nostalgic journey through time, adorning our walls with stunning photography by local artists, capturing the essence of Reno and Northern Nevada’s iconic events.
In the center of our facility lies a beautiful rose garden. The dozens of blooming rose bushes and other vegetation provide the perfect environment for families to spend time with their loved ones, and for our residents to enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment. Even when the temperatures cool down, the beautifully lit courtyard provides a place of serenity all year long. With nearly half of our rooms facing the courtyard, it allows our residents to feel the peace and serenity that comes from the outdoors.
We recognize all religious denominations and hold services on special occasions in our community. We have scheduled transportation to many churches in our area every Sunday. We are happy to accommodate everyone who wants to participate, regardless of preference.
